Dad’s Pancakes:

Single:                                   Doubled:

½ C flour                              1 C flour

¼ C wheat germ                    ½ C wheat germ

¼ C oat bran                          ½ C oat bran

2 teaspoon baking powder   4 teaspoon baking powder

2 tablespoons sugar               4 tablespoons sugar

½ teaspoon salt                       1 teaspoon salt

½ -3/4 Cup Soured

Soy milk or buttermilk          1 Cup- ½ Cup Soured Soy Milk 

2 tablespoons oil                     4 tablespoons oil

1 egg                                         2 eggs

Mix dry, add wet.

Warm skillet on medium heat, use non-stick skillet or add butter to prevent sticking. Drop cakes onto skillet by spoonfuls. When cakes stop bubbling, flip. 

This can be made with water, milk or buttermilk. The water ones are flatter, and the buttermilk ones are fluffiest. Make with what works for you.
